Grilled Burgers with Caramelized Onion and Bleu Cheese Spread

Ingredients

    1 Cup
    Onion, Finely Chopped
  2. 2
    2 Tbsp
    Vegetable Oil
  3. 3
    8 oz
    Cream Cheese, Softened
  4. 4
    4 oz
    Bleu Cheese, Crumbled
  5. 5
    3 Each
    Garlic Cloves, Roasted
  6. 6
    6 Each
    Hamburgers, Grilled
  7. 7
    12 Slices
    Bacon, Cooked
  8. 8
    Bibb Lettuce
  9. 9
    Sliced Tomato
  10. 10
    6 Each
    Brioche Buns, Buttered and Toasted

    Balsamic Glaze

Steps

  1. In a skillet, caramelize the onion in vegetable oil.  
  2. Beat the cream cheese until smooth; add the onion, bleu cheese and garlic.
  3. Spread on burgers, return to grill to soften.
  4. Top each bun bottom with lettuce, tomato, bacon, drizzle with balsamic glaze, top with burger and bun top.
